Hello and welcome to this edition of Coffee Talk is episode 41, and we are getting ready for the season to start.

That's going to be coming up soon. My name is Trevor Huth, and I am joined by Nate Kosher.

Nate is back after a week off. He abandoned us for an episode there so he

could go watch spring training, whatever that means. Very good. No, Nate, happy to have you back.

Thank you. Yeah, it was pretty exciting. We kind of decided late in the game going to spring break trip so i have some

spring training official updates that i saw with my own eyes excited to report on those today

yeah so go go right ahead what games did you see who'd you like yeah so i saw i went to two games

i figured that was the maximum i could drag my family to slash.

My family would allow me to attend.

So two games.

First was the Giants and Guardians.

And the Giants, it was interesting, you know, the teams playing which starters or, you know, if it's a split

squad or what strategy they were doing. So the Giants were mostly non-starters. The Guardians did

start a lot of their starters, but the pitching matchup was Tristan Beck versus Joey Cantillo.

And I think both of them were sort of fringe starters last year.

They got some starts last year.

But I was interesting, I was interested to see how they pitched.

Well, the Giants ended up destroying them.

But basically, I was, I put a link in our document, Trevor, but before the game, the

plan was for continue to try to fill up the strike zone.

So he was, you know, one of those times where they talk about something specific, the

pitchers doing that specific thing.
