Welcome to what drives you. I'm Kevin Miller. In this episode, curiosity is confidence and threat

is insecurity. I feel if an alien came to Earth today and looked at the media, whether it's

news headlines or social media, they think that we must be near war. And now with, you know,

the literal news media, they're paid to get readers and they

know the value of drama and if it leads, it leads. But with social media, most of what I see,

we're just inflicting voluntarily upon ourselves. Somebody makes a benign post that may showcase a

like or a dislike or a viewpoint or an opinion, and then the fight is on.

The comment section can turn into war zones. I actually try not to read them as I just

depress myself with the unnecessary and unwarranted conflict. But I feel like most all the

conflict is just people raising their hand to let us all know, hey, I'm wildly insecure. I need to try and

elevate my lacking self-image by vehemently arguing how wrong you are if you think pineapple should

go on pizza. What I find is that what speaks of confidence is mostly curiosity. Let's talk about it for a minute. When I'm not having
