Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, wherever you are out there on this big blue

marble, welcome to the high wire.

Let's step out and take a look down on some of the insanity happening in this world this

week.

You know, I want to think about how many times you've seen a movie, a science fiction

movie where they're genetically modifying children.

Some of the stories that we've read in books, you know, they train children to either want

to be drones and workers and then some will be the rich and they live in different areas

or different cities.

Sometimes they're modifying the embryos.

You see these embryo stores where they're just changing how a baby is going to be born.

I mean, it's been in science fiction novels forever and how many movies have you seen

that discusses that?

And we think, oh, it's a science fiction movie.

That's out there.

Maybe someday that would happen.

What happens when we reach that day when that is no longer a movie?

What happens when that is the world that you live in?

Will we celebrate it?

Will we be excited about it?

Are you excited about the idea that we could genetically modify children to maybe avoid

disease or maybe love work or hate work?
