Some of you have heard me say this before, but you know, I just feel like every time I hear

that song I need to just give thanks to God, but that was my father's favorite song and at his funeral, which was 60 years ago

this last May, I was 12 years old, and this is when they had an open casket, you know, and my, I was sitting just a few feet away

from my father's casket, and they were singing that song about how great thou art.

And it just didn't seem like God was great, because I how great

because I prayed for my dad to be healed and he went ahead and died and I was

devastated by it and I remember just praying and saying God if you're great then reveal

yourself to me what is my purpose in life I was 12 years old and it was six

years later when I was 12 years old and it was six years later when I was 18 that God just showed

up in a miraculous fashion and I mean he transformed my life in an instance. He just lit a fire on the inside of me. I wrote this little 25

page booklet entitled My Appointment with God. I just felt impressed to do that back in May of this year and I sat down and in just a couple

of minutes wrote this 25 page booklet about that and it's a gift. Do we have those with us? Does anybody know? Okay, we do have those with

us and so that's a freebie out there if you'd like to get it and it's and it's just

amazing how God can answer a 12 year old's prayer that I didn't even know what I was asking for.

And this ought to encourage you that maybe you, if you're here it's because you know that there's more than what

you've been experiencing and you're here to receive something from God and you may

not feel like that you've got it all figured out and how is God going to ever move in your life.

But if God could answer my prayer and change my life, I can guarantee you God could change your life.
