Okay, well, today we are going to review something that obviously took place a while ago,

but we have enough information now to actually do some important analysis.

And that is going to be the question of what happened with respect to Daniel Penny versus Luigi.

Mangione.

Mangione.

All right.

And the reason why we want to discuss this is not to kind of

relitigate the case, although we're going to talk a little bit about some of the facts and

why Alvin Bragg thought that, you know, Daniel Penny should, should, you know, face potentially

15 years in jail. We're going to discuss all of that. But the main question that we're going to

get to is, why is it that there was such a different reaction to these two homicides?

Now, just to make sure we're clear, homicide is not the same as murder, right?

Homicide is, you know, again, when a person is killed, but there can be justifiable homicide, right?

Justifiable homicide can be self-defense.

Justifiable homicide can be defending others.

And then there's non-justifiable homicide.

That's when you get into things like murder or negligent homicide or even aspects of manslaughter.

So we're going to discuss some of that.

But what I really want to focus in on is the left and right reaction to both of these cases,

because I think that tells us a lot about where the country is headed.

It's the reaction to both of these things that actually give us a far clearer insight

into some of the issues that we're facing within America right now,
