following wilted petals from the great tree that passed. We blow over the landscape of this island.

Down its center river past each port, and far across the sea until Onawa is but a silhouette

on the horizon.

The air today is thick on your first day of travel.

You'd never expect the bitter chills of the Black Sea could feel so congested.

A small light may have been created and enjoyed within the walls of Onawa's capital palace,

but the surrounding darkness that the albatross splits through is nothing if not suffocating.
