Hello there and welcome to an encore presentation of Databank Brawl.

This is a show we started way back in 2016 and ran all the way through early 2020.

The episodes are buried deep in our archives, so we are re-releasing them starting with episode one.

If you've never heard Databank brawl, here's the deal.

We pick two characters from the Star Wars Databank and then make up a deadly fight between

them.

Pain, shame, and comedy ensue.

Yes, we hope you enjoy the jokes we made on purpose and the random comments about the future

of Star Wars, which are now hilariously outdated.

So with no further ado, here is Databank Brawl Rewind.

As Obi-1-Kinobie once said, hello there, and welcome to Data Bank Brawl, the podcast

where we learn about Star Wars characters, discuss them, share our little feelings about those characters, and then make them fight

for our amusement, and hopefully yours. I am your host. My name is Joseph Scrimshaw. With me,

as always, is Ken Napsock. I am so happy to be here. We've been on a great run of some

wonderful adventures, Joseph, answering important questions about canon. And that's one of the things we do here on Databank Brawl. That's right. We get some fresh,

true, absolutely honest canon, straight from Databank brawl, or Databank, Starved.com, Databank,

and then lies. We tell lies in these fights. We hit terrible, terrible lies. We have several

special guests here on Databank brawl today.

As is almost always with us, we have just a little taste of whiskey, a little something to help us go off canon.

We also have the slight hum of my air conditioner, because it is a very hot day.

I like to say, yeah, Los Angeles is sweltering out there.

It's really bad, but I like to think, Joseph, that we're in a hangar of a Star Destroyer.
