twinning and so are necks. I still is winning. Well, when you used to open

for me, when we played the sheds for you people out there, you go out and you

play outdoor amphitheaters kind of funky ones in the northeast in August. And

you would open for me. David would walk out. This was like in my hey day right off

rock and roll, you know, saturday night. And they they would start going, ooh,

they thought you were me. But by the end of their tour, David was the first comic I've

ever seen. You come out in shorts holding a Pepsi or something. And you would kind of drape

yourself across the stool and kind of like, what's up, everybody? It's just like I go out like a

dancing monkey. One time I sweated through my entire clothes. It was like 102 and humid. Yeah,

back keys. How you doing? I have a running car is going from one of that. And then I go out

there and mumble 20 minutes and get paid. I didn't know like chomp. But now you're like,

oh, like Yankee doodle. It's not special. It's not bad. What's up, everybody? I just didn't know

you could do that anyway. Were you guys on SNL at the same like start at the same time? We start,

no, he started probably five years before me. On SNL live, I started in 86. You came dancing

in around 90. I had 100 shows in my back pocket. So what was your first like encounter?

David and I met it. I lived above a garage in Beachwood Canyon on Alcione. Yeah. And Bob

Duback lived in the house and Kevin Neelan lived in the house. My wife and I were trying to save

money because I didn't have many prospects. Everything I'd done had bombed. So we lived up there

for 300 a month, had a hot plate. And then one day David showed up. And I said, what,

do you have a paper route? Who are you? You know, I did like it. It was Neelan had the other room.
