0:23.0	Today we drop back in on Moses as he's reviewing the blessings and curses portion of the
0:27.2	covenant.
0:28.6	He reminds the Israelites of the blessings that await them if they obey God.
0:32.4	He will give them victory in battle, and Moses even says God will command his blessing
0:37.1	on them.
0:38.1	Wow, blessings go where God tells them to go.
0:40.9	And he promises to give the things only he can give life, growth and reign.
0:46.4	When that happens, the people around them will take notice that there seems to be a unique
0:50.5	blessing on this nation state.
0:53.2	Because of God's very evident protection and provision, these other nations will be
0:56.8	afraid of the Israelites, because nothing is more terrifying than when your enemy is thriving.
1:02.0	When Israel thrives, they'll lend to their neighbors in need.
1:05.6	And remember, their neighbors here are their enemies.
1:08.7	Neighbor isn't just some word to suggest friend, the surrounding nations oppose them
1:13.0	and don't follow Yahweh.
1:15.5	All of these blessings will follow them if they follow God.
1:19.8	If they don't follow God, the curses will come.
1:22.3	And wow, they sound terrible.
