This week I'm stepping a bit out of my comfort zone to bring you a pretty wonderful show from September 26th, 1993 at the old Boston Garden in Boston MA.

This show starts with a fine 'Jack Straw' then Jerry goes right into an excellent version of 'Althea'. In fact I even find the 'Walkin' Blues' here to be above average..

'High Time' is quite well done, with some nice contributions from Vince and Phil. 'Maggie's Farm' is quite fun with each member taking their turn with the verses. 'Lazy River Road' is one of those latter day anthems that kind of mark where Garcia was at the time. I enjoy listening to it sometimes. 'Easy Answers' was and always will be a puzzlement to me, but they close with a fine rockin' 'Don't Ease Me In'

0:06.6	This is a professor, I'm so glad to pick us up this week.
0:09.0	I'm going to go a little bit out of my comfort zone this week and bring you a show from 1993,
0:14.0	from September 26, 1993 at the Boston Garden.
0:19.4	This is one of the better shows of this era that band and I thought it was worth spotlighting
0:24.7	especially next week's second set but this first set's quite good as well.
0:28.4	They start out with a quite good jackstraw, a lot of energy.
0:34.0	Although Bob cuts it off, it cuts the jamming off a little bit too early for my taste.
0:38.6	Jerry goes right into a great version of Althea.
0:41.3	They follow with one of the better versions of Walken Blues. Jerry does an excellent high
0:45.8	time following that. Then they do a me and my uncle. Nicely done into Maggie's Farm. This one's a real treat.
0:52.7	Each member of the band has their own
0:54.9	section of lyrics and it's quite well done.
0:57.4	By the way, Phil is really up front
0:59.3	all throughout this set.
1:01.0	They follow that with a very nice reading of Lazy River Road. Then we get easy answers. A song with lyrics that are at best laughable sometimes. But this is an early version. They're still finding their way on that.
1:15.0	Into a solid, Don't Ease Me in to close the set. So hope you enjoy this one. If you grew up with the band in this period of time,
1:22.0	these songs will be familiar to you you and I hope you enjoy it.
