I'm so excited.

I just feel like, man, growing up in the Black Church, if Resurrection Day was like

as big as my little white friends would be like why is resurrection day so much like Christmas at

your house. I'm like girl I don't know what it is but Easter is the Black Christmas. I mean it is serious and Mother's Day I mean Mother's Day you

would think it was Easter all over again. We roll we roll we get incarnations and

passing out candy and flowers just to all women if you have a wound you get a flower

You know, so my mother lives on another side of the country.

And so it's so sad because I hardly actually get to see her.

The way that it falls typically during the academic year is pretty busy.

So I don't get to do what I would love to do, which is take my mom out to some really good seafood place in the city of Baltimore, which is where I was born and raised.
