Last episode on Dear Diary Part 1, we took a 400 year tour of the kinds of internal struggles and feelings often of frustration, but everyday pleasures

that women over the centuries have chosen to record in their diaries and journals.

One thing that Sarah Gristwood says that really stuck with me

is how diaries are a way of saying that you matter, that your experiences,

your emotions, whatever you are going through, it's worth writing down, whether that

is for yourself or with the mind toward posterity of someone finding your diary someday.
