I'm so excited to be speaking with Wade Mullen in tackling the issue of abuse in the church.

More specifically, we're going to be discussing Wade's highly anticipated book,

Something's Not Right, Decoding the Hidden Tactics of Abuse and Freeing Yourself from

Its Power. For many of you,

Wayne Mullen is not a new name. Wade spoke at the Restore Chicago Conference I hosted last

fall, and his talk on how to spot spiritual abuse was incredibly impactful. And the thing I

heard so many people say after hearing Wade's talk was that they realized that they're not

crazy after all. And that's because

abuse so often makes the victims feel like they're the problem. Abuse is so disorienting. And a lot of

that is due to the language of abuse. And this is why Wade's book and his ministry are so

vitally important. There's something incredibly freeing about naming the deceptive tactics that abusers use.

So I know this interview is going to be eye-opening for so many of you, and that's why I'm just
