0:00.0	Hi, everyone and welcome to Bad on Paper podcast. I'm Olivia Mentor. And I'm Becca Freeman. And today we have our March Book Club episode. We are going to be discussing Deep Cuts by Holly Brickley. We haven't talked about this. I think you just finished this. So I'm very excited to hear your thoughts because I think this is one of my favorite books of the year. I read it last
0:38.2	year, but I reread it this year, so I'm counting it in this year. I'm really looking forward to talking
0:43.1	about it, especially on the heels of our music episode. My life has been so full of music with this book
0:50.1	and that episode and all of the random rabbit holes that sent my brain down. And it's been a joy.
0:56.7	So I'm really excited to talk about it with you. Well, before we get into that, tell me your high from this
1:02.2	week. My high is that I just have a lot going on. And it's all great things. Like I feel like my brain
1:10.1	is firing on every creative
1:11.6	cylinder that it has. Maybe the music is part of that. But I'm working on revisions. I'm
1:17.8	drafting at the same time. Oh, wow. I actually didn't know if that was possible, but I'm trying
1:22.5	to maintain both things. We'll see if it lasts. How are you doing that? Like, do you one in the morning and one in
1:29.9	the afternoon or one day this, one day that? I've basically been doing like whatever I have the
1:36.1	most time for. So I prioritize the revisions first just because I have to. And then if I still feel
1:42.8	inspired or I have time, I write like 500 words. Like I was
1:47.0	doing about a thousand a day and I cut it back. So it seems manageable. Like I don't want to abandon
1:52.6	it all together because as you know, it's just so hard to give back to something once you put it
1:57.6	aside. So I don't know. That's what I'm doing so far. We'll see if it
2:02.7	works. It's two very different parts of your brain, you know? Yeah. Yeah. So I'm doing that.
2:08.6	And then I also am teaching this, as you listen to this, I will be midway through my writing
2:13.3	workshop at this high school that I'm doing. And I am so nervous and excited, but as I prep for it,
2:21.5	I'm just getting really anxious. I didn't realize that it was a workshop. I was kind of picturing it
2:26.9	more like a guidance counselor thing where you were just available to talk to kids who were
2:30.9	interested in writing, but you're actually doing a full course?
