Throughout the month of February, we're celebrating Black History Month here on M. Go Blue podcasts,

and to do that, we're having conversations.

Last week, it was about the men's soccer program and its Social Justice 101 initiative.

I definitely encourage you to check that out on our Conquering Heroes episode from a week ago.

This week, we shift our focus to basketball. Two members of both

programs here in Ann Arbor, Nas Hillman and a Kenray Johnson on the women's team, Isaiah

Livers and Saudi Washington on the men's team. It took about 40 minutes last week during the tail

end of the department-wide pause to have a conversation about so many topics.

There have been many conversations over the recent months, and many more still need to happen.

These four will get into some of the components of that while also talking about why this month means so much to them.

I encourage you to listen about what motivates them,

what saddens them,

what prompts them to speak.
