Sometimes games have various junctures, chapters, pivot points, runs for both sides. And some games,

you just kind of know how it's going to go from the outset. And you could boil it down to that

13 to 2 run that Purdue started with. Just through the box score, the play-by-play, turnover, Purdue

layup. Turnover, Purdue missed three, but an offensive

rebound and a layup. Then Michigan missed a couple of three-pointers. Braden Smith came right

down, made a jumper. Michigan did get on the board with an Amari-Burnett bucket. Then, a few

instances later, from 6 to 2, it inflated to 13 to 2 with a Trey Kaufman-Renn jumper a steel and a C.J. Cox

easy laying in transition. Then a Danny Wolf turnover on a Caleb first steel and a C.J. Cox 3.

Timeout Dusty May and Michigan was in the Mackie Arena quicksand. It was pretty much over from there.

Michigan was down 20 or more throughout the entirety of the second half in this game.

You pretty much knew the core tenants, the core actors, and the core takeaways from this.

Purdue's defense suffocating. Michigan shot just 37%. They were six of 29 from deep,

and much of those makes came late in the game when this thing was done. And then the turnovers.

Michigan is season high with 22, leading to 29 Purdue turnovers, Purdue points off those
