Be happy for each other's success.

That was part of Dusty May's message to the team in the locker room

immediately after a thrilling, stressful, exhausting victory over 7th ranked

and previously first place Purdue on Tuesday night at Chrysler Center.

The Wolverines have now won five in a row since that fateful Friday night at Mackey Arena when

Michigan got blitzed.

They fell behind 29 to 9.

They trailed by 20 in the final 29 minutes of that game.

It was non-competitive.

It was dominant.

And it was, as Dusty May said at the time, hopefully a fork in the road to get

Michigan where it needed to go, to get Michigan better. And since then, by no means have the

Wolverines put together a great 40 minutes all the way through. But they've done enough. They've found

away. And they have not only been happy for each other's

success, but they have been able to share success. Look back just three days ago. Michigan

at Assembly Hall, Trey Donaldson, Danny Wolf, and Vlad Gold, and all had at least 18.

20 for Wolf, 18 for each Vlad and Trey. That trio was 19 of 36 from the floor.

The rest of the team, nobody had more than four points, and they were five of 18 shooting.

Now, Trey, Vlad, and Danny, they certainly got some in this game.

Wolf the team lead with 15, Donaldson

and Vlad, adding 12 apiece. But you could talk about several players before getting into those

three, and it's not favoritism or burying the lead or whatever. This was truly a team effort. Save Justin Pippen, who had three minutes, didn't play a whole lot in this one.
