Well, we are just a few days into the Trump administration.

We're already seeing a lot of activity going on at the border, which is surprising because I thought all that was impossible, wasn't it?

I mean, didn't we just go through a massive election cycle where we got told endlessly that in order to properly secure the southern border, what we needed to do was pass this bipartisan

piece of border security legislation that was going to empower and equip the president with all

of the things that he needed in order, in order to properly stem the time of people coming

over to the country illegally, as well as combat

some of the other criminal activity that's been taking place at our southern border. But then,

alas, Republicans, evil Republicans killed the bipartisan security bill because they wanted the issue

more than they wanted the solution. That's what we were told. And today, we're going to

analyze, was it true? I mean, let's face it, Republicans get things wrong all the time. I know.

I'm an elected Republican, and I see them get things wrong all the time. So anybody that tells

you that one side's all right and one side's all wrong is clearly ill-informed about what actually

goes on within the realm of politics.

But on this particular issue, we have sufficient evidence to be able to look at the actions

that took place, the various pieces of legislation that were proposed, and the actions that have been taking place

over the last several days in order to ask a very, very important question.

Was that bill actually needed? And if not, why did they say it was? All of that coming up on

this episode of making the argument, I am your host, Nick Freitas. As you can see, I am still
