I remember the good old days, Donald Trump's first term, when basically every day I was making a video titled, Democrats panic.

Because I want to make sure you understand why I use the phrase panic.

Because it implies irrationality.

It is not sounding the alarm.

It is not expressing fear or disgust.

It is outright them screeching over nothing.

Okay.

So the latest story in which they're accusing Donald Trump of being a despotic authoritarian is that Trump has signed an executive order claiming that the Constitution, which explicitly states the executive power is vested in the president. particularly mundane. Trump basically said, okay, so we got the FCC. We got the SEC. There are,

uh, the people who run it are appointed by the president, but they're independent and

they're supposed to operate.

But Trump said, no, the office of budget management, give me a report on what they're doing

and then report that to me.

And they're like, he got, he's asserting control over these agencies.

Well, to be fair, Trump did say, look, I'm the president.

It's actually quite insane to me that for so long, I mean, we had this period of like 70 years
