This is it, folks, the very first episode of the Astonishing Dead Letter Office.

We've been working on getting this produced for many, many months now, and we're excited to finally bring you our new weekly show from the depths of the Blanket Fortiana Vault.

That's like a disorganized basement workshop in your great-grandpa's 100-year-old house.

Well, I think there is a wet bar though, right?

That's true. It is greatly, vastly under-stocked, but I think it's there.

It's the perfect place to store all of the stories you've been sending in over the years and on top of that it's always cool down here.

That it is and here's what to expect. We'll aim for weekly year-round episodes.

The format is shorter than astonishing legends, but length may vary based on the letter.

For example, tonight's letter is one of the longer ones, but it's October 29th, so that makes sense.

Sometimes Forrest will read the letter, sometimes I will.

And finally, for this show to work, we will need to hear from you, dear listeners.

Check the closing credits for the new email address to send your stories. It's a new one and unlike our

older inboxes will be monitored with alarming regularity.
