Dr. Sad, the people in California, how do you think they're grappling with this fire and the politics of it psychologically?

You know, it's unbelievable to see how unsurious these people are, right?

Thomas Sowell, the great economist, said that there are no solutions, there are only trade-offs.

So it's nice to have pronouns and all the rest of that woke stuff.

But for every dollar that you put into this,

it's a trade-off that you're taking from somewhere else, right? So, for example, at the University

of Michigan did a study where they were spending something like they had 500 positions,

$30 million spent on DEI. You could hire 150 professors at $200,000 to add to the faculty

roster. So life is about tradeoffs, spend a bit less time on gender pronouns, and a bit more

on fire management. Everybody would be happier. So does losing your home in a fire, does that change someone's way of

thinking, or are they just going to go back to the same old woke BS that got him into this mess?

You'd like to think that they would autocorrect, but I can tell you that I've often been approached

by people in the neighborhood who tell me, oh, you know, I love your work, Dr. Sadd, and then I say, who did you vote for? Oh, I voted for

Justin Trudeau, of course. So they love my work, and yet they never change their voting behavior.

So I'd like to think that maybe a disastrous fire will cause you to alter your political orientation,

but maybe not. We'll see.

Do Gavin Newsom and Justin Trudeau remind you of each other?

They do, except that Justin Trudeau is a lot more feminine than the lizard.

All right, Dr. Gad said, the paragon of masculinity, you cannot keep women away from him.
