Summary

In this conversation, Carl Jackson discusses the recent dismantling of the Department of Education by President Trump, arguing that this move will lead to a smarter America by returning educational authority to the states and empowering parents. He highlights the negative impact of federal education policies and teachers unions on student learning and emphasizes the need for parental involvement in education. Jackson also addresses the broader implications of educational reform in the context of American society and the challenges that may arise from these changes.
