episode 292 of connecting with Walt. I am your host and dis historian Michael

Bowling and I am joined by my co-host, executive producer, and good friend Craig Williams. Craig, how

are you today? I'm doing great. How are you, Michael? I am doing well. Thank you. So I am hopefully by this time, because we're recording a little in advance, I am officially a docent at our local zoo sanctuary.

Yeah.

So I'm very excited.

I know you will be because there is one thing I think we all know about you,

Michael, and that is that you are more thorough than most people in the entire world.

So if anyone is ever going to be successful at, you know, it's something, it's you.

It's funny because when they, when I, because I had, I've had to go through training for a long,

for months here on this. And I've led test tours and stuff. And I, I've, my last requirement

that I'm, that I would have completed by now as I am leading, officially leading a tour for third graders.

Because this is, you know, our sanctuary is where, you know, we host school groups and youth groups.

And then there's docents that take them around. And so I'm going to do a bunch of

third graders and then pass. But as they told me on one of my test tours, they said, you have all

the facts. That's not a problem. They said it's just choosing the facts. They said because you only have like

a couple of minutes in front of each habitat before, because the tour has to be completed in an hour.
