that have entertained uh you know fans all over the world it's uh just such a pleasure to bring you guys comic books.

And now my obsession with talking about them is reflected in this podcast of our observations.

Thank you so much. Everybody, this week we were always headed in this direction, but maybe speeding it up just a little because

as you know the world around us is hurting there is a lot of pain and a lot of frustration a lot of

confusion in these very troubled times following the death of George Floyd at the hands of these four

police officers and Black Lives Matter, all of these different issues and movements and protests

have gripped the nation. It's very complex. There are no easy

answers, a lot of emotion. And I figured at this time, diversity in comics is something that I have

always been so proud to have participated in.

And when I mean participating in, I mean they helped me grow as a person.

They entertained me, exposed me to a bigger world than the one that I was used to as a kid. And again, through comic books, which broadened my horizons, gave me different heroes and characters

and worlds, I experienced the streets of Harlem from Anaheim, California through the pages of Marvel comic books,

and suicide slum through the pages of DC comic books.
