We're just going to go on straight and continue with where we stopped. So the next group of drugs I'm going to talk about are the amino glycosides, right? So all these things end in mycen, right? Gentomysen, tobermycen, you know, neomycin, things like that. Now these drugs, they're pretty high you'll know about because there's a bunch of things that they could be used for in exams.

For example, Genta mycen is part of the treatment regimen for Indometritus. Remember,ometrititis is going to show up as a fever and

uterine tenderness, usually going to be a few days after pressing guts a C section,

usually within the first three days or thereabout right we treat

endometritis with clendarmysin and gentamysin ECG's a monic for that right and

dometritides treated with clendent so that gentamicing covers it is very helpful.

In fact, amino glycosides in general cover pseudomones. There are actually

certain people that have cystic fibrosis that take inhaled tuberomycin.

Because remember, people that have CF,

especially those over age 20, they are, the most common cause of pneumonia in those people is going to be a

Sudanas, right? So the amino glycocytes cover pseudomonesse very, very beautifully. And remember amino glycocytes covers pseudomonesa very beautifully. And remember amino glycocytes you cannot use

them for anaerobic infections. They literally need oxygen to get into the cell. So they don't

work for anaerobes. They only work for aerobes. And then don't work for an Arabs, they only work for Arabs.

And then don't forget that gentamysin can also be used sometimes to treat, sometimes it can be used to treat endocreditis.
