podcast I want to address a topic that I feel like is relevant to a lot of people

taking really any USMLE exam.

And it's this topic of my scores are not improving.

I want to address some of the most common reasons, and then I will try to prefer solutions as I go through each reason.

But again I think if you're in this situation I think you'd find this podcast to be very helpful. So just pay attention and if any of these things applies to you,

again I'll encourage you to use some of the principles and going to be stating to make some correction.

Again, don't just be a person that you're like,

whatever.

I mean, obviously I don't know everything.

I'll come out and say that right off the bat. But I think with some of the experience I have, I think, and having worked with thousands of students, chances that you'd get something from just listening to this right so ging your

marriage may vary but I think you'd get a lot from this so let's just jump

right into it so what's the number one reason why people's what people's

scores don't improve number one is just that they have a very poor

knowledge base. That's the truth. Again many people love to deceive themselves.

You see them they take a practice exam and they get a 2.05.

Let's see, they're doing a step 2 practice exam, they get a 2.05.

And they say that, but they feel like they know their details very well. They take on that

practice exam they get a two or seven. Oh but they think they know their

details very well. Let me tell you what you're doing. You're deceiving

yourself is exactly what you're doing. People don't get two or fives or

two or sevens or whatever because they have just very amazing knowledge pieces.
