and comprehensible. I'm Lynn Hilton Wilson. Today I am excited to talk about the period of church

history from 1823 to 1827.

And I hope you can come and follow this church history program as we try to address some of the hard questions with honest, exact answers.

I feel like we have the accurate resource. It's a matter of finding them.

And so as we look at Joseph Smith history today, chapter 1 verses 27 to 55 and section 2 of the doctrine covenants,

I hope that you too can feel a greater faith in Jesus Christ and the blessings of the Restoration Scripture. But there are many

hard questions about this section. And I want to talk about them. How in the world could a boy

claim to create Scripture? And how in the world can you have the audacity to open the scripture canon?

And that was probably the most egregious statement in the entire Second Great Awakening,

opening the canon. This was more offensive probably than anything else Joseph did.

Now my hard questions are things like, why is Dr. Inkevance two different than Dr.

and section, the Joseph Smith translation of Malachi?

And why did Joseph take four years to get the plates and where's the Nephite Camara?

You know, we'll talk about some of these things, some of them.

I don't know yet.

I'm still working on my answers.

But I believe that as we ask questions and we seek for honest, accurate answers, the

Spirit of God can help us.
