When the Son of Man comeeth, shall he find faith on the earth?

Lord, I believe, help thou mine unbelief.

May our testimonies be as deep for the strong as that of Jacob.

Hello, amigos. My name is Jared Halverson. This is Unchaken.

And today we have our work and our glory cut out for us with Section 88 of the Doctrine Covenants.

This is, by some measurements, the longest section of the Doctrine Covenants,

not by number of verses, but perhaps by area, the length and the depth of this revelation.

It's an incredible one. In our family, whenever we have a major meal to eat,

we'll set the table on lay out the spread and just say, today we feast like kings.

Well, if you've gotten used to feasting upon the words of Christ as we've gone through the Scriptures in the last year and a half,

today we feast like kings. And it's going to be an incredible experience.

I pray that the Holy Ghost will help us make sense of some of the things that are more difficult.

There is some deep doctrine in this revelation.

And at the same time, there is so much comfort running throughout.

Joseph Smith originally called it the olive leaf.

And there's something to be said for that based on what we studied last week.

In Section 87, where we finished last week's lesson, was this prophecy on war.

And not just the civil war, but war from there,

crescendoing and culminating in war being poured out upon all nations.

Now, that's a heavy subject. In fact, Jedadiah M. Grant described Joseph receiving that revelation
