You know, time march is on, but my introduction of our guest this week has not changed one bit.

She is the reason that I started watching gymnastics.

It is gymnastics to me is this unique combination of elite athleticism.

I don't know how many of you all have tried it, but it is elite athleticism, but it's also

art.

It isn't golf where you can compete for decades.

And in gymnastics, like 25 is considered middle age. She participated in

three different Olympics. And I'm going to let you let that sink in for a second. Because

if you follow this podcast, you know there's a reason I majored in history. I don't, I don't know

math. I can't tell you what three times four is.

She might can, but I can't.

If I take my shoes off, I think that might be 12.

12 years in a sport with a lifespan as short as gymnastics.

So by now you can guess.

It's the reason I started watching women's gymnastics.

I actually still watch it because of her.

And her name is Dominique Dawes.
