See, most guitar players never take the time to look back and see how far they've come.

They always look at the next thing they have to learn, the next hurdle that they have to jump over,

the next technique they have to conquer. And that's all well and good. I want you to have goals.

But it's just as important

to look back and say, wow, I actually am progressing. That staves off. That fights off the guitar

rut. So how does this work? What is it? Why do we do it? Whoa, I have to be careful here.

I'm going to spill coffee one of these days. It's going to go everywhere.
