The FBI arrested Robert Hanson outside Fox Stone Park at 4.43 pm on February 18th, 2001.

It was the Sunday of President's Day weekend. Agents took him to an FBI office in nearby Tyson's

corner of Virginia. Hanson wasted little time loyering up. Bonnie was home, starting to get worried.

As far as she knew, Hanson had dropped off his best friend Jack Hoshauer at Delas Airport.

He was supposed to return home for Sunday dinner. Bonnie got in her car and drove toward the airport.

FBI agents intercepted her in the parking lot and escorted her back to the house.

And so one of the agents on the squad talks to her and tells her to

pack because her husband had been arrested and now we're executing a search warrant for the house.

That's Steve Pluto. He was the FBI agent who spent the most time with Hanson immediately after

his arrest. The source told us that during the search, Bonnie was cooperative, quiet, and calm.

Processing what had been fallen her family. The two youngest children were also home. Greg Hanson,

Bonnie and Bob's teenage son, helped an FBI agent locate his dad's guns inside the house.
