I have a very complicated relationship with food and on this podcast we're going to talk

about all of it.

Today I sit down with Dr. Edward Lopez-Jones.

He is a physician and scientist with 25 years clinical experience in internal medicine

and infectious diseases.

He's taken some time from his busy schedule today to speak with us about the COVID-19 virus.

I get to ask him about all the scientific facts of this virus that I can think of and what

we can do about it.

But most importantly, can I still go to the gym?

Just to know what your specialty is, you work in infectious disease?

Yes, exactly.

I'm a specialist in infectious diseases.

I just happen to be also an epidemiologist by training.

I work at the Keck School of Medicine at USC.

I see patients in two hospitals, Keck Hospital and LA County, which is the public hospital.

The system there works as several hospitals, those are the two main ones where I work.
