We were taught almost nothing about nutrition in medical school.

It was really through my own pursuit to try to help myself feel better.

connected for me when I learned about type 2 diabetes is one of the end stage forms of insulin

resistance. Anything that spikes your glucose above 110 is a little red flag saying this is risky.

And anything that goes above 140, high glucose levels are toxic to every cell in the body.

With type 2 diabetes, which is a disease of high blood sugar, gradually destroys every organ,

the eyes, the kidneys, the limbs, the heart, the liver, the brain.
