1:38.5	The Order grants a scholarship each year for original research into druidism and related subjects. We've called this scholarship
1:46.6	the Mount Hamas Award after the Druid Grove of Mount Hamas that was said to have been established near Oxford in 1245.
1:55.9	Now each research paper is then published online on the order's website and is also delivered as a lecture at the Mount Hamas Award Day held every four years.
2:06.5	In addition, every eight years, the papers are gathered together and published in a book.
2:10.8	And in September, we held the Mount Hamas Award lectures and Philip managed to record two of the presentations.
2:20.4	Now, unfortunately, it was a very echoy hall, so the resulting sound recording wasn't that great, but the content is too good to miss out on.
2:28.3	So I've put them through a few whizbang audio plug-ins to compress the sound as much as I can
2:33.7	to get them as good as I can get them.
2:35.9	And I hope you'll forgive the audio quality, but these talks are very, very much worth listening
2:41.2	to and putting out there as part of the Druidcast kind of online legacy.
2:47.0	So I'll place the first talk this month and I'll try to do the same next month with the second talk.
