and I'm in my 50s, okay? And I have been jamming to all of these these uh these pop culture tunes since

since I was seven years old maybe earlier but uh today's episode we are jumping right in

because everybody I know loves a good duet okay everybody loves a good duet uh when I was young and really starting to get into music,

I mean, they were coming right and left that the era of the kind of the late 70s and all through

the 1980s, the very popular 1980s music, was marked by giant name after giant name coming together

and making a cool tune. Okay. And they would, and they would, uh, record some, some cool

tune. Sometimes, sometimes, sometimes they would record one for their album. And then they would

record one for the other

guy's album and the other woman's album.

So you, you know, they'd get two bites at the apple.

But many of these duets, once they did them or they recorded them, they were gone.

I remember one of the biggest ones that I encountered again showing my 80s upbringing.

Early in the 80s, the, you know, mega star of Stevie Wonder and the megastar of Paul McCartney, he of the Beatles,

who had already had about a decades old super solo career, you know, by himself.

They jammed together to make a song called Ebony and Ivory.
