So here we are with a brand new episode for all you Hellions out there. What do you have for us today, Annie?

Well, today I'm going to tell you about a murder that hit very close to home for me and I mean that literally.

The murder of Lauren Astley happened on my street

eight years ago last week.

Oh, so this is a more recent one then?

Yeah, it is.

It happened when I was still living in Wayland, Massachusetts. It really was it was shocking and

tragic and completely devastated two families forever and at the root of all of this is I think it's a really important issue that you just don't hear talked about very often.

What's that? It's the issue of breakup violence.

Yes, yes, this is indeed a very important topic and you are right it is very rarely talked

about and I think many confused it with domestic violence.

Yeah exactly exactly but it's not domestic violence.

Break up violence can happen even if there really haven't been any warning signs at all to speak of

that would even make you think that violence could be an issue.
