And we're very excited to welcome back to the podcast today, returning champion Udi Greenberg, who is not only my old friend, but who also functions as our

Israel desk. And we've invited Udi, who is an associate professor at Dartmouth College, to talk about

politics in Israel and just what has been going on there. So, Udi, thank you so much for joining us.

Thank you for having me.

So I guess the first basic question is we had you on about a year-ish ago to talk about

the domestic situation in Israel and how things have been shaping up since the October

7th attack and Israel's subsequent annihilation of Gaza. So what's happened in the last year?

I guess to begin as a broad question and however you want to go and then we'll go into

further details.

But how have political developments occurred?

What is the domestic situation?

Are people still talking about the hostages, all that stuff?

Right.

So I would say that the most remarkable phenomenon in Israeli domestic politics over the last

year is its remarkable stability.
