just the first question that i want to ask is is um i think a criticism some might have is why center being Jewish

at this moment, even if it's in the service of Palestinian liberation. What are you trying to do

with the book? I think it's a totally legitimate question, and it comes out of people's very

genuine frustration that Palestinians still remain soft and so marginalized and dehumanized in these public conversations in the United States that what Edward Said talked about famously, the lack of permission to narrate still very much is the case today.

take center state even in the midst of this destruction of an entire society in Gaza. But I guess
