The This is 15 minutes of freedom. I'm your host Ryan Naidel and today you're probably in quarantine of some sort. So I've all types of fun stuff to share as we

progress through this together as a group. And when I say all types of fun stuff to share,

admittedly these have been some trying times for many of us.

Or maybe you yourself are left scratching your head with what's to come next.

And I understand that.

I think that's a natural progression.

I think that's a logical conversation to be having.

But as you go down that rabbit hole of being uncertain of what could be next, what I encourage

you to remember and consider is the fact that we are all going through this at the same time.

And admittedly, none of us actually even know what this is.

And so as we try to make sense of things, as I have shared so many times before, that we crave definition as human beings.

We crave knowing where things fit.

And in this moment of uncertainty it can become challenging to know where things fit

and when we don't know where things fit we become uncentered

We begin to question some basic needs and some necessities that we might have.

And from that very place, from that mindset that can exist there's actually an effect that happens as we

Have conversations you and I between that Maslow's hierarchy of needs and what that looks like, where the majority of the people, i.e. you and I, when faced with this much uncertainty, this much of a pattern interrupt, this much frustration, confusion, angst, across almost every level of life. What ends up happening is we typically slide back at least one layer, one level, in those hierarchy of needs.

And it's okay.

This isn't to say better or worse then. This isn't to say, right, the sky is falling.

This is just the way that we work as human beings that we're all attempting to ascend.

And ascension doesn't have to mean in the metaphysical standpoint.

It doesn't have to mean in the comparative standpoint.
