I don't know the last time we did a Saturday pod.

It's been a long time, but look, it's free agency. There's stuff happening, and we're here to talk about it.

So late at night on Friday night into Saturdayurday morning on the east coast we find out

mckyde beckton is signing with the los angeles charger so the eagles will have a new right guard in 2025

yeah and he was really the last guy that you're holding out some sort of hope that he would come back

but i think he made a great point.

I don't know.

I think it was yesterday.

Just that it might not be the money as much as the comp pick.

It's both.

But if how he's playing the comp pick game, you know, if you resign Beckton, you know, that's a pick you're not going to get. So he was very consistent

in his whole philosophy, this whole week. And they basically lost everybody that other than

Zach Vaughn, they lost everybody. And we kind of knew it was going to happen but it's been it's been interesting to see

and they'll miss mcky backton and it was just such a good story he played so well it was really

cool to see him turn his career around and and just how much he appreciated being here

um i actually looked this up because i i couldn't think of an offensive lineman who was a starter here and only played one year here.

Like this guy, like most offensive linemen, if you're with stout, like, why would you leave?
