We cannot raise niceness higher than truth. It is never compassionate to speak untruths to people.

I think that we've seen Christless conservatism actually fail on a variety of different fronts.

And that's because Christless conservatism is going to be very, very subjected and susceptible to populism and popularity.

We get to the edge of our reason, and that's when we have to stop. If we keep walking, we would

tumble over the cliff, but we don't just stop there in frustration. We stop there in awe and wonder.

It's when we get to the edge of our reason that we kneel down and worship God.

The church militant in some sense looks like maybe it's smaller on earth than it was a few years ago.

But the church itself is only growing, right? We only add to the church. Because when we bury people,

we're not losing them. They're transferring the church triumphant. Every time we baptize someone,
