we're looking at 2003 and joining me this time is a veteran combat sports

journalist. He's the author of the world's most dangerous man a new

biography on Ken Shamrock which is coming out very very soon Jonathan Snowden joins me

I really enjoyed the book, so I'm glad to add whatever I can to it.

Yeah, and I'm looking forward to this as well, because I think the two of us have like different

philosophies on or different tastes on what was happening in wrestling at the time so I think this

this will be some pretty good chatting

going on but I mean 2003 John how did how did you connect to where was your

place what were you doing in 2003 how were you connected with

combat sports and and pro wrestling and everything well so honestly this was

about the time where I I really fell out of the pro wrestling scene, especially the Japanese scene.

Some of that just had to do with what was going on in my life.

I was overseas in the Army and, you know, as hard as it had been to get you know tapes of Japanese pro wrestling

once you're overseas then it's like a whole different deal and you know we were

making the transition from tapes to DVDs and there's a number of reasons why it was kind of a difficult
