It's an emergency podcast on this Saturday afternoon, December 30th,

and I am joined as I often am by Scott Coleman.

Scott, we had a whole plan for a podcast, and then Chris Sale blew it up.

Hey, Brad. Yes, I want to take a moment to thank Alex Anthopoulos, who I am sure listens to

every minute of this show. You and I all week long had been planning for a show on Saturday afternoon,

the final podcast of the year before 2024.

And very thankfully, Alex swings this deal about an hour and a half before you and I were

scheduled to record what was going to be a mailbag episode of just like a random

mishmosh of questions.

So thankfully, the podcast curse slash blessing did not appear one more final time

in 2023. And yeah, Chris Sale, a big deal to be sure. Yes, I would echo all of what you just said,

heroic work from Alex to not have this drop tomorrow or late tonight, et cetera. And for once,

right in our wheelhouse when it came to recording time.
