For most of the week, it was not certain whether the 49ers would be able to face the Green Bay Packers with Brock Purdy and Nick Bosa.

The answer came just before the 49ers stepped on their plane to Wisconsin.

They will have neither player available for this crucial week 12 game 49ers Packers at Lambeau Field.

week 12 with slim playoff hopes, I think those slim playoff hopes got a lot more slimmer.

Yeah. It's not good news with Brock Purdy and both Nick Bosa out for the game.

Brock Pretty, Kyle Shanahan explained, had an MRI early in the week.

They thought it was going to be fine.

We watched him observe practice on Wednesday, and on Thursday, he did throw a few passes,

and it must not have been, he must not have felt right, because he quickly went into the

treatment room, and we did not see him again the rest of the week. So it is. It's Brandon Allen getting the start and Nick Bosa. It's a defensive line without Nick Bosa on the line. Yeah. And I'm at the practice on Thursday, Dustin Little, who's the prener's head athletic trainer. You can tell, Purdy called him over, and he was rubbing that right shoulder.

And so nothing showed up to really cause alarm with the MRI, but he just doesn't feel right.

And, you know, we kind of talked about it earlier in the week about you want your quarterback

to be able to throw a football during practice.

Yeah, it's kind of the point.
