with John Oliver, the host of last week tonight

on HBO and HBO Max.

Obviously embarking on the new season of his new satire show in the middle of a presidential

election year. We'll talk about that. And all these Emmys he's won, including very recently,

for last week tonight between himself as host, for the writing,

and for the series itself, they've won 16 Emmys for last week tonight.

He also, by the way, won three when he was on the Daily Show.

He had a memorable stint in 2013 filling in for eight weeks as host of the Daily Show

when John Stewart was away directing a movie.

And as you'll hear him talk about a lot of people

watched him do that and said oh he's not just the correspondent he could sit alone

and host a show and now we got last week tonight. Came up through comedy growing up in Birmingham, moved to London, went to Cambridge to this

incredible society effectively of comedy that gave birth to Monty Python among many others.

Very, very smart, very fast, and very funny.
