I've been reviewing some literature on emotion and I thought I would share with you in

podcast land and I thought I would use my co-host as people to bounce off

to as people to bounce these ideas off of we'll see where we get all right so let's start off what is the definition of emotion what do you think? Well, emotion is a welling of electrochemical processes in the brain that makes you... No, but seriously it it kind of is right? But I suppose the the more layman thing is the

emotion is a way of feeling that

that has some you know that carries some man it's hard to not use the word

itself yeah well let's let's talk about the two one the two definitions

talking about one is it's chemical it's it's you know emotions come from the brain we a lot

of people think and it's it's about brain chemistry a second one I think you're

trying to get to the word perhaps meaning, things that have meaning in our life.

Yeah, probably. I guess there's the intellectual reaction to things, right?

And then there are more primal emotional reactions to

things. So I suppose emotions are more primal feelings in a way than the more

layered intellectual feelings.

So there's maybe different kinds of feelings?

Yeah. Emotions.
