Hello, hello, and happy December friends. Is everyone

sufficiently busy lately? Well, listen, two weeks ago when I left off, I told you all about my new

puppy Penny. Well, the reason there was no new episode last week is because I went a little bit crazy.

And I added Penny's

sister Sky to my family. Yep, I am now the proud mom of two 11 week old toy golden doodles.

And on top of trying to get some of my reserve days in this fiscal year, I've been busy with

holiday shopping and planning as well as momming my three

human kids and my two puppies. So pray for me. Let's just say the elves were late this year,

and my kids have already received their very first naughty list warning letter. So as we get ready

to close out this year for the podcast, I wanted to close a loop on some cases that I covered that now have resolutions.

I will be calling these episodes encores because they are repeats of prior episodes, but with updates sprinkled in towards the end of the episode.

I know it's nice to know about an upcoming trial, but there is no true justice until there is a conviction and a sentence in each case.

Today, I want to remember Amanda Gonzalez, a young soldier who was murdered in her barracks room in Germany.

Her murder had various suspects throughout the years, including Chinu Kim, who I covered a few weeks ago on an episode, but this year, the true

culprit was brought to justice. The trial was held in April and sentencing took place in the

fall. Join me today as I bring you the conclusion of U.S. v. Shannon Wilkerson for the 2001 murder

of Amanda Gonzalez.
