So I'm in this booth set to record a pitch for you to join the Dries Plus.

Dries Plus, if you have not heard of it, is the way that we will keep the show running. We've got enough money to keep it going through the

winter. Beyond that, we do not know. So many of you have responded and stepped up. It's given us hope in a year where we have not always had a lot of hope.

So I need to ask you to do this.

The one problem right now is the light bulb above me just burned out.

Seriously, it's like a metaphor or something. I need a new light bulb. You have allowed me to do this for so many years and I have to come back and ask you to do it more because I believe the show matters and many of you have to.

We need 3,000 people to make this work.

Right now we have 1,200.

We think we can get to that number.

And if we can, we can keep this show going, right? And so if you're one of the people that we have

connected with it one of our stories has meant something to if our story has

made you think if it's made you laugh it's made you believe if it's connected you to your

community and to the world around you I gotta ask please pay it forward I think we're

close and I'm going to believe I'm going to believe what we can do this and that is scary frankly it's scary to ask but I'm going to do it because I want you to have a choice and so far you you've encouraged that belief and we are so thankful for it. In fact it's like we were going through the numbers the other day and 47 states if you live in Delaware,, or South Dakota, help us get to 50.

I believe we can do this. I believe I can get a new light bulb in here. That I've got covered,

I promise. But I'm in the dark here.
