Justin, thank you so much for making some time for us today. I'm so excited to get to speak with you and for our listeners to hear this conversation that anyone tuning in is maybe expecting

a fairly heavy conversation given the topic they've seen we're talking about. But part of the

reason I'm so excited to talk with you

is because I think there's actually so much hope to talk about

within the work that you do and are doing in kind of the direction we're headed.

So what led you specifically to this cause,

to your work in fighting human trafficking and exploitation and working with Epic

Project?

Yeah.

So it started off somewhere back in about 2011.

The founder of Epic Project came to the church I was attending at the time and started talking about

sex trafficking and specifically.

And I had heard a little bit about it, Cambodia, Thailand, sex tourism kind of a thing.

I had heard a little bit about it, but he was talking about right here in Portland, Oregon,

that he was saying, I believe it was 106 youth that were being sold on the streets of Portland, Oregon.
