Today we're going to be talking about what the rest of the media is talking about, and that's Donald Trump's spat with House Government Oversight Chairman

Elijah Cummings, but we're not going to talk about the details of it.

We all know what's happening by now.

Donald Trump accused Elijah Cummings of ignoring his

congressional district and not paying attention to the needs of his

constituents and trying to go after Trump instead and the media and the left decided that that's racist.

I'm pointing out that a congressman hasn't been helping their district is

apparently racist.

But instead of talking about how ludicrous that is, I wanted to focus on this new

strategy from Trump and why I think it's a winning strategy and why the left and the media have come out so hard against Trump

to try and disarm it this time.

Now as you know it's the end of July which means Congress is going out of session for a month.

Members of Congress will be going back home to spend time in their districts.

They're going to be holding listening sessions, town hall meetings,

they're going to be going to businesses, and and roundtable discussions and things like that.

The goal is to go back to their communities, find out what they need to be doing in Washington,

and then to come back to D.C. charged up and ready to fix the problems that their

constituents sent them there to fix. This has been how our country has worked

from the beginning, going all the way back to the first Congress, right?

These were citizen legislators.

They had to go back and they had to tend to their businesses,
